Big Lake Community Education Services office is located in Independence Elementary, Door J.

We have programs and classes for citizens of all ages and programs are offered at all four schools:

Liberty Elementary
Independence Elementary
Big Lake Middle School
Big Lake High School

Funding for Big Lake Community Education programs comes from local levy dollars, state aid, federal aid, donations, grants and participant fees. Each program area has a different funding formula.

Most important, Big Lake Community Education programs are about identifying and meeting real community need! This is accomplished through active citizen involvement and community resources.

Community Education Advisory Councils:

Advisory Council members are made up of interested volunteers willing to become actively involved with their community and schools. If you are interested in serving as an Advisory Council member or would like more information, call 763-262-2523.
